(“Galerie”).  Galerie respects the privacy rights of our users, particularly those under 13, and understands the importance of protecting these rights. Before you use (referred to as the Finders Keepers website, website, or site), please read the following Privacy Policy carefully to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make full use of our offerings.  

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected on the Finders Keepers web site.  Galerie, Inc. and its affiliated entities are collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Galerie,” “we” or “us.” This Privacy Policy describes what information the Finders Keepers Candy website collects from users, including children, when they visit the site; how such information is used and stored; when such information may be disclosed to third parties; how users, parents, and guardians can control the use and disclosure of collected information; and how such information is protected.

At Galerie, privacy is important to us. We may request or collect certain information when you visit the Finders Keepers website. However, visitors are required to share only the information that is reasonably necessary to participate in the particular activity.

A. Cookies (which may be html files, Flash files or other technology) are text files that help store user preferences and activity. Web beacons (also known as image tags, gif or web bugs) are small pieces of code used to collect analytical data, such as counting page views, promotion views, or advertising responses. The Finders Keepers site and/or third parties may use Tracking Technologies to collect Computer Information automatically to support internal operations, such as providing web analytics.

We may use Tracking Technologies to help tailor our content, enable the internal functioning of the website, understand site and internet usage, improve or customize the content or offerings on the site, personalize your experience on the site (for example, to recognize you by username when you return to the site), save your password, and/or maintain and administer the website. These Tracking Technologies collect click stream data and additional other information regarding your visits to the Finders Keepers website (such as your visits to specific webpages or use of features), and may also collect your IP address or some other identifier unique to the device you use to access the site (“Identifier”). An Identifier may be automatically assigned to any device you use to access the site to enable internal functioning of the website.

Please be aware that certain areas and features of website can only be accessed in conjunction with Tracking Technologies, and that disabling Tracking Technologies might prevent you from accessing such content.  

On, the following entities collect persistent identifiers on our website solely for the purposes described above:  Google Analytics.

B. Social Media Links: The Finders Keepers website may display social media links in the Parents Corner. When you visit social networking platforms, you share your information with them and their privacy policy applies to their collection, use, and disclosure of such information. In addition, they may be able to collect information about you, including your activity on the website, and they may notify your connections on the social networking platform about your use of the site. Such services may also employ unique identifiers which allow your activity to be monitored across multiple websites for purposes of delivering more targeted advertising to you. The privacy policies of such services may be different from our own and we encourage you to read them.

C. Other Data Collection and Use: We may collect information from visitors when they contact us with questions and comments. We may use this information, along with any of the other information described above, to (i) analyze use of the website and understand and improve our service offerings; (ii) prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities and protect our legal rights; or (iii) for any other legitimate business purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect your information or pursuant to your consent.

We may share your information with third parties for the limited purposes described below. Parents of children under the age of 13 have the option of consenting to the collection and use of their child’s personal information without consenting to the disclosure of that information to certain third parties.

Law Enforcement and Safety: You acknowledge, consent, and agree to the extent legally permissible in your jurisdiction to allow us to access, preserve, and/or disclose the information we collect and/or content you provide to us (including information you may have posted on bulletin boards or internal site communication systems) to a law enforcement agency or other third parties if required to do so by law or with a good faith belief that such access, preservation, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with legal process; (ii) enforce the Terms of Service of the website; (iii) respond to claims that the content violates the rights of third parties; (iv) respond to your requests for customer service; or (v) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of the owners of the website, any user of the website, a third party or the general public. C. Business Transfer: In the event that assets relating to the website are transferred or sold to another entity as a result of, for example, a corporate sale, merger, consolidation, asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy, information collected on the website may be transferred to the acquiring company.

The website is designed for and targeted to U.S. audiences and is governed by and operated in accordance with the laws of the U.S. While users from countries other than the U.S. may access the website, we make no representation that the site is operated in accordance with the laws or regulations of, or governed by, other nations. By participating in activities on the website, you certify that you meet the age and other eligibility requirements for the site as set forth in the respective Terms of Service. The Finders Keepers website maintains reasonable technical and organizational steps to help ensure that information collected is secure, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers and use of electronic security systems and password protections which guard against unauthorized access. We also take reasonable steps to help make sure our third-party service providers protect the security of your personal information. However, as with most Internet sites and services, it is possible that third parties may unlawfully access such personal information through a number of means despite our efforts. Information collected on the website will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or to otherwise meet legal requirements.


California Privacy Rights:

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) provides California residents with certain rights with respect to their personal information: 

  • Right to request that we disclose, no more than twice in a 12-month period: 
    • The categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.  
    • The categories and sources from which personal information is collected.
    • The business or commercial purposes for collecting or selling personal information.

We will provide this information upon receipt of a verifiable consumer request.  How we will verify your identity depends on how you have interacted with us in the past.

  • Right to request that we delete any personal information about you that we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.  If we are required to delete your personal information, then upon receipt of a verifiable request, we will delete your personal information from our records and direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records.  
  • Right to opt-out of the “sale” of your personal information to third parties. The website does not share personal information with third parties under circumstances that might constitute a “sale” under the CCPA.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our visitors who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Nevada Privacy Rights:

Nevada residents have a right to submit a verified request directing a website operator to not make any “sale” of covered information collected about the consumer for monetary consideration to a person for such person to license or sell the information to additional persons, subject to certain exceptions. The website does not engage in the “sale” of covered information, as that term is defined.
